SOCCER YOUTH LOOKING AHEAD TO SUMMER NATIONALS

Soccer Youth’s week-long summer experience is scheduled for June 12th through the 15th. The Summer Nationals is a tournament hosted in lovely Panama City Beach, Florida in which teams can sign up to compete for a championship against other teams from across the United States and Canada. The Summer Nationals is a terrific opportunity for a week-long vacation that includes fun (on and off the field), family, and friendly competition.

This event immediately follows Soccer Youth’s All-American Series in Panama City Beach and will be a competitive event. Teams involved are comprised of club teams, teams from training academies, and teams put together from individual players who sign up for the Summer Nationals. Individuals who sign up for the All-American Series in Panama City Beach from June 9th through the 11th and immediately follow-up with the Summer Nationals from June 12th through the 15th will have an enhanced, 7-day long soccer experience that includes seven guaranteed games and two chances to increase their Player Card ratings.

The Summer Nationals is seven-on-seven gameplay in which every team is guaranteed to play five games. Players have the opportunity to add Soccer Youth’s Player Card Combine on to their experience, as well. The first day of the tournament includes check-in, coaches’ meetings, team practices, and opening ceremonies. Day two and three includes group-play games as well as the Player Card Combine, which is a set of six drills that use a scaled rating system to give players a score at each category as well as an overall. Day four is reserved for bracket play, as well as the Championship game, awards, and selections for Soccer Youth’s All-American Golden Cup. The fifth day is a just-in-case for a rainy day.

Team and individual awards can be earned at the Summer Nationals. For teams, awards are given out to Champion and Runner-Up teams. Individuals can also be selected for participation in Soccer Youth’s All-American Gold Cup that is played in Naples, Florida (East Version) and Mesa, Arizona (West Version) in December of 2023. All players in the Summer Nationals will receive some swag and a player profile listed on Soccer Youth’s website, which is a helpful tool to list contact information and post highlights.

The Summer Nationals will be hosted at Publix Sport Park in Panama City Beach, a top-notch facility that offers a variety of amenities. On top of the world-class coaches and elevated competition that the Summer Nationals provides, Panama City Beach offers multiple opportunities for family fun including world-class beaches, water parks, restaurants and so much more. We hope that you join us there!
