PLAYER BIO

Tyrus Tyger Givens was born an Army Brat in 2016 at Joint Base Lewis McChord in Tacoma, WA. At the age of 2, Army life took him across country to Carlisle, PA where he lived for the summer of 2018. After the summer, he relocated to Riverview, FL where he started soccer at age 3 with Soccer Shots at his 3Pre-K Children’s Kastle. 2019-2020, Tyger joined i9sports where he played soccer, baseball and flag football. In 2020, he started basketball at The Tampa Skills Center and started playing soccer with the Players Club Tampa Bay. 2021, Tyger relocates to Germany. He makes it onto the only US soccer travel team playing all German teams, the 2016 (United States Youth Soccer) USYS Stuttgart. In 2022, he played Rec CYS soccer, baseball and basketball. 2022-23, he made it on the U10 Stuttgart Eagles Basketball Travel Team, traveling to Berlin, Germany and other countries like Belgium and Austria playing teams who traveled from China and other countries. Tyger enjoyed traveling to visit other countries while in Germany. His favorite locations were London, England and Paris, France. In 2023, Tyger relocated back to the US. He joined the 2016 Sumter Soccer Club “Gunners” for their 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons. He also played rec baseball and basketball in the off seasons. In October 2024, he joined the One Futsal 2016 team and also plays up with the 2014 team. Tyger now specializes in soccer and dreams of making a professional living playing the beautiful game.
