PLAYER BIO

Josiana began playing soccer at the age of 4 with Hamburg Area Soccer Association, solidifying her love for the sport. At 5 years old her family moved to Parrish, FL and she joined the North Manatee Soccer Club. During her first season with NMSC, she played on a co-ed recreational team. She was scouted during that first season and was invited to try out for their development academy. For Josiana’s second season with NMSC, she was selected to be apart of the first all girls U8 developmental team at the age of 6. She then proceeded to play with them for a total of 3 seasons (1.5 years). At the age of 7, Josie was selected to play on the U9 girls competitive team and made the U10 team the following year. Over the years Josie has developed into a midfielder. While she occasionally plays wing, her predominant position has been center mid. During her off seasons, she plays futsal on weekends and participates in various camps to improve her skills.
