PLAYER BIO
Nicholas started playing soccer when he was 3yrs. old. and since then it has become an important part
of not only his daily life, but also helped to form the childhood relationships and bonds with family and tradition, morals and culture from the start. Over the years and still today soccer for Nick is a blessing and a gift which he plans to use in the future to help others whether that be through translating for someone as a Spanish and English speaker, or relating to a fellow peer through soccer who could use a friend or words of encouragement. Soccer for Nicholas is more than just a sport. It brings together loved ones, and strangers; it has the ability to create relationships. It bridges continents, languages and cultures; it knows no boundaries or borders. Nick knows that anyone can score a goal or take shots, for Nick soccer is more than all about himself; it teaches life lessons, its a team, it helps and supports others, it works together to create something better. It takes work and effort even when it is hard, scary and difficult which Nick experienced when he was 13yrs. old and decided to go to Mexico and play soccer with Pachuca at La Universidad del Futbol y Ciencias. For 2 years Nicholas studied and played soccer there where as a 14yr. old he often times played with and against 17-18yr. olds in the 4th Division. Nicholas has recently returned to the US where he will continue to learn and grow his soccer skills in hopes of making it professionally and either to the Mexican and/or US National Teams.
