Event Info – Panama City Beach 2021

We can’t wait to see all the players in Panama City Beach! It’s going to be a great event! Below is important information concerning the All-American Series event. Make sure you read everything.

PARK INFORMATION:

All activities take place at the Panama City Beach Sports Complex: 50 Chip Seal Pkwy, Panama City Beach, FL 32407


TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE:

The Tournament Schedule is online and will always be updated if necessary. Keep in mind we play by birth year. Important: Save the link on your phone.

WHAT TO BRING:

Normal soccer equipment: soccer ball, boots, shinguards, goalie gloves (if goalie), etc. IMPORTANT: All players must bring their own water/drinks! The facility will not be providing water for the players. Parents might want to bring chairs. Concessions will be open. 


ITINERARY:

Thursday, July 29

(Thursday is only for those players showing up a day early with paid performance training registration)

4:15pm – Early Check-In

5pm-7pm – Performance Training

Friday, July 30

9am-12pm – Players Check-In

1pm / 3:30pm – Evaluation Session / Team Practices

CHECK-IN PROCESS:

  • Check-In is between 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM CT (Central Time) at Panama City Beach Sports Complex. You can come anytime between those times. Go to the main gate at the facility. You will see the Soccer Youth signage.
  • During the process all players receive their All-American Kits. Player jersey numbers are 3-digit numbers. Players will not know their official team until after player evaluations later in the day.
  • Each player will go through the media area during check-in for their player profiles shots for Soccer Youth. Must wear their All-American Jersey.

FACILITY GATE FEE:

The Facility Gate Fee is only $10 per person (12 under is free). This is a one-time fee for the whole event, not an everyday fee. You will be able to purchase the gate fee passes onsite during the check-in process.

EVALUATION SESSION / TEAM PRACTICES:

All players will first go through an evaluation session. Players are split into teams. Rosters are set after this period and teams have practices with their assigned coach. Players will wear their All-American Kits. All players must have “both jerseys” with them at all times.

1pm-3pm Session:

High School Girls

2008-2009 Boys

YTH Boys / Girls

3:30pm-5:30pm Session:

High School Boys

2008-2010 Girls

2010-2011 Boys

FRIDAY NIGHT GAMES:

Most divisions will be playing showcase games (two 20 minute periods) on Friday Night. These games will not count against their group play standings. Both the 2008-2009 Boys and 2010-2011 Boys will start their group play games. All game times are on the online tournament schedule.


Saturday, July 31

8:30am-3:30pm – Group Play

1:30pm-4:30pm – Skills Challenges

6pm/7:15pm – All-Star Games 

GROUP PLAY GAMES:

Teams will be playing two games on Saturday.

VERY IMPORTANT: All players must have “both jerseys” with them at all times each day. Coaches will inform players what jersey to wear at start of each game.

SKILLS CHALLENGE:

The Skills Challenges (Sharp Shooter and Goalkeeper Wars) will take place from 1:30pm-4:30pm on Field 2. If you didn’t sign up during your initial player registration process, you still have time to do so. Fee is only $35 per participant. Limited number of spots available per division. Sharp Shooter: 1:30pm-4:30pm on Field 2 (Players can show up anytime during those times).

Goalkeeper Wars: 2010-2011 Boys and 2008-2009 Boys at 1:30pm, YTH Boys/Girls at 2:30pm, and High School Boys at 3:30pm.

ALL-STAR GAMES:

The top players from each division face off as All-Stars. The selected All-Stars will be announced on Saturday around 2pm on Soccer Youth social (Facebook and Instagram).

Sunday, August 1

9am – Bracket Play

11:20am-2pm – Championships

Awards Ceremonies (for Champion and Runner-Up Teams)

AWARDS AREA:

All Champion / Runner-up Teams report to the All-American Awards Zone for the Awards Presentation right after their Championship Game. 


MERCHANDISE:

You will have the opportunity to purchase official Soccer Youth All-American merchandise onsite anytime during the event.

SOCIAL MEDIA:

We’re always interested in highlighting our All-American players on our Soccer Youth social pages: TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. Make sure you tag us and use the following hashtag: #BeAllAmerican. The more creative the better. We want to help your player gain additional exposure!

OTHER NEEDS:

  • A Licensed Trainer will be on hand for any needs during practice and game play.
  • EMERGENCIES: 
    • Gulf Coast Regional Medical Center located at 449 W 23rd St, Panama City, FL 32405. 15 minute drive.

WEATHER DELAYS:

Very important, make sure you follow Soccer Youth on twitter. The handle is @SoccerYouthFC. We will post any updates for the event or weather delays on our twitter page. 

PARENT BEHAVIOR:

Keep in mind the All-American Series is a special event for your player. We will not tolerate any misbehavior by parents that cause constant yelling at refs, coaches, or staff, as well any stoppage in game play. This could cause immediate banding from the facility.
